How Social Media Has Changed Fashion For Me

Instead of getting fashion inspiration from paper magazines, I know see fashion everywhere on social media. Platforms such as Pinterest, TikTok, and Instagram are accelerating the spread of fashion trends. I see this as good and bad. It is a nice way for people to cosplay into a new identity through fashion. For example, with the Mob Wife trend, people can release their inner diva and radiate confidence. Everyone should know what they like to wear and what their own style is because as cheesy as it sounds, we are all our own person and we can't all be the same. Through random videos and photos on my phone, I am able to create more inspiration for my outfits. I mean, I already have an "Outfit Inspo" board on Pinterest, so when I am stuck on what to wear I can find ideas through social media without having to leave my home. I want to incorporate these changes in my blog by showing you my authentic style. I like to jump around with styles with what my mood is in. Sometimes I will radiate a true city girl, and other times I like to get creative and show my inner child through fashion. No one has to settle for one style, just wear what makes you happy and feel your true self.
